Dear Valued Customers,
Today, 1/30/2018, we experienced a glitch on our web server which triggered several notifications emails to be resent to customers for existing orders which had been placed as far back as 2015. We are working to resolve this matter and prevent it from recurring in the future.
- You were not recharged for any orders.
- No additional orders were placed.
- Your account information was not compromised
Please disregard any emails you receive concerning past orders. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us and we will do our best to answer you as quickly as possible.
We apologies for the confusion and any inconvenience this has caused.
~ Mary Jo’s Cloth Store Management
While conducting maintenance on our server to improve our sites communication with the store and inventory, a process was initiated which sent out emails related to all orders on the site since its launch in 2015. This process was isolated exclusively to the sending of these notifications and is not tied to placement of any orders (new or repeat).
We want to make sure you know that our server was not hacked, and no customer data was accessed through unauthorized means.
As a reminder, while some transaction data is kept to expedite your future ordering process, no order can be placed without you providing the credit card CVC (which is never stored by our systems).
Again, we apologize for any confusion and concern this issue may have caused and we are working diligently to avoid a repeat of this issue from occurring in the future. If you have additional concerns or questions, please use our contact form and one of our customer service specialists will be in touch with you as soon as possible.
Any additional information we learn regarding this incident will be added to this page to help keep you informed.
